13 new members to the family

At least! I have been clearing out the fish tank. I felt done with it. It's so much work to keep it clean and I've been doing it all by myself, so I started sending the fish to the ocean. All drains lead to the ocean. I thought I had cleared them all out. I was sitting, and glanced at the tank with 2 in of water in it and saw I missed a fish. How could that happen? Oh well, I will get him later, I figured. Today, I peaked in to see if he was still swimming (the eat the algae) and he was swimming away. Along with at least 13 baby fish! WOW! We've never had baby fish before. I could hardly believe they were there. It's supposed to be pretty hard to breed fish. They need the right conditions to breed, and aparently, our tank was it. Pretty cool. So, now I filled up the fish tank and am prepared to take care of my new babies. I hope they all live. I saw one that died only a little while ago, already. Since there are so few babies, I bet the other fish had been eating them. Oh well, that is life.
