In this time of stress and exhaustion, I feel the need to write about what makes my day bearable.
Yesterday, from about an hour before for bedtime, all the way until I put her down, Rebecca would periodically wave at the computer. She usually waves goodnight and I guess she just wanted to go to bed. So cute!
After Samantha and Rebecca went to bed last night, Brooklyn was playing surprise birthday party. First she had one for me, then I had one for her, then she had one for her ducky. Then she played musical chairs with two toys. Sometimes she won, sometimes she lost. So cute!
Samantha has adopted two Little People birdies. Their names are Oscar and Ollie. They go everywhere Samantha goes. They even have their own voices. When I get Samantha up from nap time, I get 3 Hello Mommy's, all in different tones of voice. Now, she's adopted two Care Bears. They also go everywhere she goes, except to bed. So, at any given time of day, Samantha will have a Care Bear under each arm and a birdie in each hand. So cute!
Trevor has been helping me in the kitchen more than usual. He's been loading the dishwasher and running it, and then he will hand wash whatever dishes won't fit in the dishwasher! I don't even do that. I'll just wait until the dishwasher is done and then empty it, and put the rest in. I'm very anti-hand washing. What a big help it's been!
