I'm trying to get ride of the crumbs on our main floor and it is nearly impossible. I swept the floor yesterday. 5 minutes later I saw crumbs in more than one area that I new didn't have crumbs after I had swept. I realized it was because I didn't vacuum the two very crumby two area rugs we have. So, I vacuumed those, and vacuumed the rest of the floor, and I look back when I'm almost done... still crumbs where I know I just vacuumed. It's not the vacuums fault. Oh no, my Dyson sucks like any vacuum I've ever seen. It's my darn feet! They're tracking the crumbs from spot to spot and leaving them where ever I've already cleaned!! BAH!
Also, every once in a while, when I step on my left foot a certain way, my big toe feels like it's got a string around it. But it doesn't. How annoying is that!? Is this from nerves? I've been having hip problems... aching and whatnot, and I was wondering if this could be related? Any suggestions?

If you made Granny's crumb cake you would love crumbs! Unfortunately, more crumbs would end up on the floor!

P.S. Soon your mom will come and be happy to take over broom duties.
We have a crumb problem too. It's so bad I have to wear slippers so it doesn't irritate me.
I think you need a massage or some sort of hip crack. I need to go too but I've never been to the chiropractor. I've always amazed at how everything is connected...
Thanks Carolyn! I was fishing for a comment from you about the hips. I have a massage on Friday and I can't wait!

I'm very happy Mom will be here soon.. and I know she won't care about the crumbs that didn't get swept.
We are constantly tracking crumbs/dirt/little pieces of who-knows-what all over the place too. I always wear shoes so I don't feel it on my feet. My broom has become my best friend, which is really sad.
Is it fairly common there for people to wear shoes in the house? I don't know anyone that wears shoes in the house, but I think I've heard of it more from the States.
