My parents have been here since Saturday. We're having a great time with them. Lots of relaxing going on. Except today. Trevor and Dad are building the fence. I can't wait to see it when it's done! It's going to be so different. Trevor built fences with his Dad for many summers, so he's tired of doing just regular fences and wanted to do something different.
I had a lump on my back removed on Tuesday. Not something I want to repeat, if at all possible. But it went well. It's finally starting to feel good enough that I can lean on my back without thinking about it. I get the stitches out next Friday. These are the first stitches I've ever had.
We also found out that Ikea is having a deal with their kitchens. So if you order before August 9 you can get 15% back in GC. So, now I'm pushing for us to get it ordered by then! But we've decided to get our counter top at Home Depot. It's going to take 6-8 weeks, but it's way cheaper than Ikea. So now I'm trying to pick a tile for the flooring.
We had a really nice visit with my cousin Darel and his wife Christine, on Sunday. I haven't seen her since the first time I met her in 2004. And I haven't seen Darel in quite a while, either. So nice to see them again, and have some time to visit!
