My parents came for a surprise visit! That was super nice because I was totally surprised. But very glad that they let me know the day before and didn't surprise me at the door.
Dad and I got to watch the Riders beat the Stamps, and finish a puzzle that we had started when he was here last. Mom and I got to go shopping a few times and out for coffee. And we all go to celebrate Brooklyn's birthday together.
Brooklyn and I took school easy while Mom and Dad were here. Just doing a little each day. It's nice to be back in the swing of things and I feel refreshed and ready to work! It feels good. I think we need little breaks like that instead of going hard core through the whole year.
We've been missing a lot of extra curricular activities because of colds.. and not wanting to catch anything else. But I think it's ok. It's nice to take it easy.
