Our Provider

I have been thinking all day about whether or not to write this post... but how can I not boast, and make a record, of how great my God is?

For a while now, we have known that Trevor's job could be done at anytime. The contract he was working for is coming to a close in August and we felt that probably he would be done then, if not sooner. We have been praying for a job opportunity to open up somewhere. He has been applying everywhere he has found including within IBM.

Well today, shortly after Trevor's manager told him his job would be finished in Februray, God opened a door. Trevor's manager called him and told him there is an opening for the same job on another contract, and that Trevor will be moved to that position near the end of the month.

I am astounded at how God has worked this out for us. I know that God loves us and he's our provider, but it's still just head knowledge. I also feel so unworthy of His provision. I feel so small and insignificant. How can the Almighty God care so much about us?

All I know is that He does! He cares for me and loves me in a way I cannot even imagine!

And Praise the Lord that He does!
