Catching Up

I know I haven't been blogging much, and I'm not sure if I'm going to try more, or not, but I have a few things I feel like saying. Just for the record.

Trevor just got back yesterday from his third trip to India this year. He's been gone for almost 2 full months. It's been hard, but super nice because my parents have been able to come each time to help me. There may be more travel in the near future, but we're just praying for God's will.

It's so nice to have him home. I love this time when he's just gotten home and is so happy to be here. His job is so stressful that this time doesn't seem to last too long until he's back in the thick of it and trying not to bring his work "home". Which is really hard for him, because he works from home.

Brooklyn has started Grade 2 and Samantha has started K. They're both doing really well, though I'm having a hard time doing school every day when we've had so many distractions. At the least, we've been trying to do math and reading every day.

We also started AWANA and Transform last week. The girls really love AWANA and this is Becca's first year. She was a little nervous to go in, but did really well! I'm doing a study on Romans, and I think Trevor will be joining me. I think it's going to be really good! I really enjoyed the first week. There is someone in our group that is on my worship team and I'm looking forward to getting to know her better. Last week I was stressed and so tired because I was trying to get my room painted and organized before Trevor came home and this lady, Heather, sent me a message and told me to call her the next day so she could come help me organize my bedroom! I just couldn't believe that someone would be so thoughtful. I was so touched. I declined because I did get most of it done, and my parents did some work in there while I was relaxing at Transform. But all the things my parents did to help me is another post...

That's a long time to be away! I can say that I honestly sympathize :(

Glad that things are well :)
