My wonderful weekend

The girls and I had a great weekend in the mountains! Our condo was so cool and I kept thinking, I should take some pictures, but never did. The decor was awesome! We had two floors. The first had a full kitchen with eating bar, as well as a table and chairs. And also a good sized living room with fire place. Upstairs there was 2 bedrooms. One had a king sized bed, which I shared with Shannon, and the other had a queen which my SIL, Tammy, slept in. And each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Here's the view from our balcony.

Friday night when we drove down I started having stomach pains. I went to the doctor today about that, but that's another blog. We took a little detour, but ended up in Canmore around 9, I think. Then we just hung out, went to Sobeys to get breakfast for the morning, and played some Uno Extreme! In the morning we just had breakfast at the condo, then shopped around Camore for a while. When we started getting hungry we went to Banff and found a place to eat there. It's called Wild Flour. SO GOOD! Everything was organic and home made. I had a panini that was just amazing! Then we went shopping Banff. We spent around 4 or 5 hours just walking and shopping. We took one break to stop for coffee and relax our legs and feet, but other than that it was just shopping. For supper we went to an Italian restaurant. Shannon and Tammy had great meals, but because I was limited on what I could eat I got a tenderloin. I have learned a lesson about never ordering steak in a restaurant that doesn't specialize in steak. So it was a gong show for me and I felt bad about it, but then I bought myself a necklace and felt better ; )

After dinner we were so tired, we went and sat in the outdoor hot tub at the condo. So sweet! It was perfect. No one was there except us. And the weather was perfect!! After that we just sat around and talked. It was so relaxing.

In the morning we had breakfast, checked out and did a little more shopping in Canmore. Decided to have lunch there. We found another really great sandwich place, and again I had a panini. So good! After that we headed home.

What a perfect weekend! Before I forget, the weather was absolutely perfect the whole weekend! Clear skies the whole time so that we could see God's wonderful creation! I can't wait for next year!
