As high as a kite

I feel high right now and I thought I better blog before I don't feel like it again.

We had our 2nd Transform group tonight. It was awesome! We're going to be studying the book of James. Today we got to form our small groups and meet everyone. We also learned a little bit of background on James and who is was and where he was living, etc.. The down part was the nursery worker didn't show up until about 1/2 way through, so we had Becca with us. She was really good. But cried every time we (nicely) told her to shhhh.

Brooklyn and Samantha had their 2nd AWANA group. SO CUTE! Samantha knew all her verses and got her vest and new book and a bag! I'm so proud of her! She's getting so big. And Brooklyn hasn't had her starter book as long as Samantha did, so she didn't know all of her verse yet, which is John 3:16. She knows about half. And also, I get a lot of emails from Samantha's leaders letting us know what's going on, and nothing from Brooklyn's. I am so proud of Brooklyn for not feeling bad when some kids got their vests and she didn't. She knows that we'll work on it this week, and then she'll get it next week. What a big girl!

Then I went to The Children's Place for the 3rd time this week. My mom bought the girls some things so I went back to add on to their outfits so they can mix and match. I bought three shirts for the big girls and an outfit for the little girl for $30! So I'm going to go back and get some more mix and match stuff. Very excited...

I started reading Fearless by Max Lucado yesterday and it's really good! Lots of good insight. I can't wait to finish it.
