Update

I decided to keep the cupboard above the fridge the way it is. I'm not going to need that foot of storage... and I think it looks fine.

We did take a bunch of stuff back to Ikea... either it was the wrong colour, damaged, or we just didn't need it. Then I re-ordered the stuff that we did need.

We're still waiting on the dishwasher... but I do have a sink and faucet that work. I washed dishes last night. It wasn't fun, but at least I was able to do it.

Trevor's Dad came over last night and moved our light switches to the other side of the wall. Which didn't take them too long at all. So today I'm going to sand and my FIL is going to come back and mud for me (since he actually knows what he's doing). And he's going to install the microwave with Trevor.

Trevor actually took Monday off this week and we went to the Zoo with the girls. They all had a great time! I'm so glad we went. It was our first time this year.

I got Becca a new toy organizer for her room yesterday. I took some of the buckets downstairs and told her that I was going to pick some toys to put in there and they would go in her room. She was very picky. I put some toys in and she's throw one back in the toy box "NO CAR". I snuck them back in when she wasn't looking.. hehehe.. My MIL was over so she helped me carry the buckets up to Becca's room and Becca was so mad when Nana picked one up. I had to tell her that Nana was going to take them to Becca's room. Then all was ok.
