I am just so excited for everything! We started Grade 1 today! So cool! She is doing awesome!
Brooklyn started getting a little frustrated with reading. We had some letter cards and we made some 3 letter words all ending in 'at'. She really did well with that and enjoyed it. But when I cracked out the book to read, I think she was a little intimidated. Even though she had already read all the words that were in the story... But I let her know that we were almost done and then she was fine. She read right through it and did great!
We learned about some animals in Science, and she enjoyed it so much that we did 2 days worth of work!
We got everything done in the 2 hour nap time! I put Samantha down for a nap today so that she wouldn't be a distraction on our first day. But I'll try keeping her up tomorrow so she can do some of her book, and see how that goes.
Tomorrow the big girls start their gymnastics class. I'm really looking forward to that because I think they'll really enjoy it.
Then on Wednesday, my good friend, who has been serving in Africa for the past two years, is coming for supper! I'm really looking forward to that!
And then on Friday, I get to leave for the whole weekend with my girl-friends!!! And I know my babies will be well taken care of by my hubby, and my PARENTS!!! So when I get home on Sunday, my parents will be here!! So cool!
