For My Dad

I have been so blessed though my whole life. I have been blessed with a father who has all the traits a good father should have. He has more patience than anyone I've met. He's handy and always willing to lend a hand. He's shared with me his love for baseball, and most recently, football. I remember playing catch countless times in the park. He taught me how to ride a bike, and drive a car. He took care of my wound when the Principle drove me home after I had fallen. He took me to the dentist and stayed in the room with me when I was scared. He was always willing to give a hug when I, as a shy little girl, needed one. He gave me away on my wedding day, but I'll always be his little girl. And most of all, he showed me love. And through that love I have a glimpse of the love my heavenly Father has for me. That is the greatest gift any father can give their daughter. I love you, Dad! Happy Birthday!
