Mounties on Duty

This was a very eventful morning. The girls, Dad and I went out to the new RCMP museum. It's pretty neat and the girls had fun. There was a spot where they got to try on the jackets and hats. Pretty cool. I found the gift shop very expensive, but wanted to get little stuffed animals for the girls and a T-shirt for Trevor. When we got to the car, I noticed Rebecca had swiped another stuffed animal! And chewed on the hat so I wouldn't have been able to return it. Good thing Dad had the great idea that I should return her other one and then buy the one she chewed up. At least it was cheaper. It would have really been bad if she'd chosen a more expensive one! Oh well. It all worked out.

After the museum we went to the mall downtown. It was fun, but a lot of walking for the big girls. And too bad we didn't find anything. Then it was off to great-grandma's house to see how she's doing. She's doing much better and we're very thankful for that. A couple days ago she had a bad case of brusitis in her knee. She's still in pain, but obviously doing better.

Now, all the girls are napping and I'm taking advantage of that. What should I do? Make a no-bake cheesecake? Since it's 31degrees here. Read my book? Have a nap? I think I'll read my book first and then see what happens. Maybe I'll fall asleep, or maybe I'll want to make the cake. My feet and back are sore from walking so much.. so I'm going to relax on the couch!
