Day Seven

Wow! Today was an awesome day! It all started out with me sleeping in... again...(I have a great husband). Then we all got ready and headed out to some Hot Springs that are about 40km away. We got there an hour before it opened... oops. But we checked it out and decided to drive back to the ones that are across the highway from us. It was a nice drive. And it was good that we came back because I'm pretty sure we would have been rained out of the other one. Once we got there the girls had a snack in the car because it was almost lunch time and then we headed into the pools. It was so nice! The hot pool had a nice shallow area where we could sit with the girls and the cool pool had a shallow area and deep end. Plus they had life jackets so we could handle all three girls.

We haven't done the swimming thing very much with our girls, and I think it's because we grew our family so fast, but they are getting way better than they were. They were never scared of the water, but never knew to close their mouths when they hit the water. So their mouth would go in the water and they would breath in. Scary for Mommy! But that hardly happened at all today and they're getting so comfortable!

Anyway, we stayed there for 1 1/2 - 2 hours and then came back and had lunch. We were all pretty tired, but since it was getting late we weren't sure if we should put Becca down for a nap. We just turned the tv on and told them to relax. Becca fell asleep almost right away. I was just sitting in the chair wanting to sleep and Trevor told me to go lay down (did I mention I have a great husband?).

After that, and a short talk to Grandma on Skype, we decided to drive into town because I didn't have any groceries for supper. We got some groceries but decided to save them for tomorrow and we got DQ to bring back. Then we played some games with the girls and some games by ourselves and it was time for the girls to get ready for bed. I read them Psalm 139... quickly becoming one of my favorite Psalms... and tried to explain it to the girls. Brooklyn understood the most. Samantha seemed too tired to focus. And Becca kept saying, "God made the mountains. He's huge!" :) (which was off topic, but one we talked about anyway)
