Night One/Day Two

On night one, the girls went to sleep so well! No crying or any fussing. Becca was coughing a lot, though so we moved her to the hide-a-bed so that she wouldn't disturb the other girls, and I slept with her. It was not a great night. Then Trevor's phone alarm kept going off. You know how when you hear something in your sleep, but it's not really disturbing you, so you ignore it? Well, that's what I did, until 6:30. So I heard it at least 4 times... then I turned it off, but woke Becca up in the process. She never did go back to sleep, but I got a few minutes more after I turned TreeHouse on for her. Then, unfortunately, she told me she pooped, so I told her to go find Daddy, but instead, she tried to go potty, so I had a mess to clean up. I didn't sleep any more after that.

So, we got up and had breakfast in the hotel. Then we went to the zoo. There were chances of Thundershowers in the afternoon and we wanted to make sure we were outta there before that. We spent just under 4 hours there. So cool! Way nicer than our zoo. My favorite animal was the hippos, Daddy's was the giraffes, Brooklyn was elephants and hippos, Samantha's was the birdies, and Becca's was the lions.

I nearly forgot to add this part! There's a exhibit called, Dinosaurs Alive! It was really neat. But poor Samantha! She was scared.. not crying, but enough to cover her ears the whole time! It took us probably 10-15 minutes to walk through all the dinosaurs and over 1/2 of them growled or something, so Samantha had her hands over her ears... the WHOLE time!

After the zoo we had lunch at Mckee D's and then headed out of town. We stopped for gas once, but that was it. The girls all did so awesome with the traveling! I'm so please. Brooklyn said it was boring... but that's ok.

When we finally arrived at our resort, after getting some groceries, I made up some supper (thanks for the buns, Mom!) and then we just sat and relaxed. I had a bath in the jinormous tub! It was so warm and nice, I just wanted to sleep! And that's all I want to do now! I'm so tired it's not even funny!

The girls are all laying quietly on their beds while watching a little TreeHouse before bed. And I think I'm going to head to bed! Nite All!

That sounds so nice. Just hanging out together and seeing neat things. I think you will be getting the boring comment for drives for the next 10 years, then it will be fun and interesting again because she'll be the one driving. Hope you got more sleep last night.
