So... on to today! We woke up and relaxed for a while. Had breakfast... just sat around. Then we got dressed and went into town to get a few more groceries. Got what we needed and drove around for a little while. There are lots of deer around here. Really have to watch the roads. The hot springs is closed for a few more days for maintenance, so we're going to just check it out and see if we want to go to that one, or check out the one that is a bit of a drive.
Anyway, we came back and had lunch. We played a few games and read some books. Then we laid Becca down for a nap in our bed. She fell asleep in no time so I snuck in and had a nap with her. The other girls just rested while watching tv.. and Daddy napped on the couch.
After that, and a snack, we headed to the pool. Tons of work for this Mama! The pool was quite cold, so I would sit in the hot tub with two girls while Trevor played with one in the pool. Our girls aren't the best swimmers, yet, but with a little work, I think they'll be great. Samantha has absolutely no fear! She was doing the "water hula" in the hot tub... so cute!
Anyway, while at the pool there was this little boy, Aiden. He was such a sweetheart and just kept talking to us. He was four, and a great swimmer. He had a life jacket on and was just going everywhere. I was able to talk to his Mom in the change rooms afterwards. I was wearing a Rider shirt and so she asked if I was from Sask. She said her husband opened up a pool hall in Regina and I told her I used to go there all the time! What a small world! They now live in Calgary! So crazy! They were super nice and Aiden wanted to come with us... I think he was having fun with the girls. Brooklyn tried to exchange phone numbers with him!
After the pool we came back and had supper. We BBQ'd hot dogs. Then we just relaxed and played some games. Brooklyn and I played War. The girls watched some more tv and Trevor and I played some card games. Then it was bed time for the girls. They're just about asleep.
We have some new neighbors above us that are stomping around and driving Trevor and I crazy! Hopefully they won't stay too long!

Sounds relaxing.
It sounds so nice, to go on a trip with kids. I miss those.
Too funny that Brooklyn wanted to exchange phone numbers with the little boy.
Cool that you were able to talk to that woman. Small world.
I used to drive you to that Boston Billiards all the time. Isn't that where you were discovered? ;) Glad you didn't pursue that.
Yes, that is where I was "discovered"! :)
